  • • Real-time location: Continuous background tracking (if authorized)
  • • Smart update: Only if you move at least 500 meters
  • • Precise GPS coordinates: Saved in database for distance calculation
  • • Public city: Other users only see the city, never your exact location
  • • Usage: Smart event matching, distance sorting, personalized suggestions
  • • Control: You can disable it anytime from browser settings

ℹ️ Smart Tracking: We use watchPosition() to automatically update your location. Optimized to save battery: updates only if you move significantly (>500m) and 5-minute GPS cache.

4. Usage Data

🤖 5. Data for Artificial Intelligence (Vibers AI)

To provide you with personalized suggestions, we collect and analyze:

  • • Events viewed: Which events you opened and for how long
  • • Discarded events: Events you rejected and the reason (if provided)
  • • Behavioral patterns: Preferred categories, price range, location type
  • • Participation history: Events you attended with details (title, description, category, price)
  • • Saved events: Events you saved for later

🔒 How it works:

  • • Your data is analyzed by AI models (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) via Vercel AI Gateway
  • • Analysis happens in real-time and no sensitive data is saved on AI servers
  • • Suggestions are generated based on your behavioral patterns
  • • The more you use Vibers, the more accurate and personalized the suggestions become
  • • You can disable AI suggestions anytime from settings

ℹ️ AI Privacy: Data sent to AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) is anonymous and doesn't include personally identifiable information. It's only used to generate suggestions and is not stored or used for AI model training.

⏱️ Data Retention

  • • Active account: Until account deletion
  • • Deleted account: 30 days (backup), then permanent deletion
  • • Chat messages: Until event completion + 90 days
  • • Security logs: 12 months

👶 Minors

Vibers is reserved for users at least 16 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from minors under 16. If we discover that a minor under 16 has provided data, we will delete it immediately.

🔄 Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you via email for substantial changes. Continuing to use Vibers after changes means you accept them.
